The Men's Garden Club of the Shoals meets at 7:00 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month in the Richards Center in Florence, Alabama, for a short business meeting, varied and interesting presentations and light snacks. In addition to the regularly scheduled meetings, field trips are generally taken once or twice per year and member's gardens are opened for visits at the height of the season. A regularly scheduled ice cream social in July and a watermelon feast in August open to members and spouses are also on our agenda. We invite anyone interested in gardening (with or without gardens) to join us as we jointly discover the finer points of gardening.
